Road to the Games: Master Sgt. Lisa Goad
On duty, Master Sgt. Lisa Goad serves as Holloman Air Force Base’s 49th Security Forces Logistics and Readiness Superintendent. Off duty, Master Sgt. Goad spends her mornings and evenings preparing for the 2018 Warrior Games. The Warrior Games provide nearly 300 wounded, ill and injured active-duty and retired service members from across the Department of Defense the opportunity to race, play and compete against one another in friendly competition. Competitors will also included wounded warriors from the United Kingdom Armed Forces, Australian Defence Force and Canadian Armed Forces. This year’s games are scheduled for June 1-9, and will take place at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
