Holloman Restores F-117 Nighthawk

Members of Team Holloman position the F-117 Nighthawk into Heritage Airpark at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., June 28. The F-117 has been on static display in Holloman’s Heritage Airpark since its retirement in 2008. Due to sun and inclement weather damage, the 49th Maintenance Squadron removed and towed the aircraft to begin the restoration process. The aircraft received structural maintenance, and a fresh paint job before it was returned for display in Heritage Airpark. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Leah Ferrante/Released)
