314th FS activation

Lt. Col. Andrew Caggiano, 314th Fighter Squadron commander, accepts the 314th FS guidon from Col. Jeffrey Jenssen, 54th Fighter Group commander as part of the 314th FS activation ceremony at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., on July 14. Caggiano graduated with military distinction from the United States Air Force Academy in 1997. He earned his pilot wings at Euro-NATO Joint Jet pilot Training in 1999 at Sheppard Air Force Base, Texas. He is a command pilot with over 1,850 hours in the F-16 Fighting Falcon. The mission of the 314th FS is to produce the world’s greatest F-16 Fighting Falcon pilots and deploy combat mission-ready Airmen to units worldwide.
