Domestic violence can take many forms from actions as small as demeaning, verbal comments; controlling personal assets, such as finances; and causing physical harm. There are many resources available to victims of domestic violence, such as calling the National Domestic Violence Hotline, 1-800-799-SAFE, for 24/7 assistance.
