49th Medical Group

 Job Title:  Mental Health Technician

 Duties:  Conduct intake evaluations, administer and score psychological tests, support services in substance abuse and prevention program. Report and document patient’s care.

What is your personal motto?

Get it done now… So you can do what you want later!

Name two of your long-term goals?

#1 Obtain my CADAC (Certified Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor).

#2 Earn Bachelor’s degree in Business Management.  

What are your off-duty interests and hobbies?

Going to the gym and playing basketball, hanging out with friends.

Who or what are your inspirations?

My family is my biggest inspiration and second to them is myself.  Seeing how far I’ve come and knowing how far I want to go.

I nominated A1C Ramsey because he is a rock star in our organization and across the installation. Ramsey was previously hand selected by the former 49 WG/CCC to be the 2016 Holloman Chief’s Induction Ceremony guest speaker due to his outstanding professionalism and speaking abilities.  Additionally, he was selected as the 1st Mental Health Technician to start embedded prevention services within the Security Forces Sq. He has been praised by the SFS leadership for several positive interventions.  He was recently elected as the Wing’s Airman Council Vice President. Ramsey also has been heavily involved in intermural sports for the Medical Group. He has an amazing work ethic and has been recognized by his squadron leadership for outstanding patient care and dedication to the overall
