Retired chief sinks hole-in-one at Apache Mesa

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Jim Morse made a hole-in-one Aug. 13 on the 170 yard, par 3, 15th hole using a 4-iron at Apache Mesa Golf Course here. He was golfing with a friend to get in a few practice rounds before the base tournament the following weekend. HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Airman 1st Class Kristina Flanigan and Senior Master Sgt. Brent Bland, 49th Force Support Squadron, strain to pull the rope during the tug of war event on Sports Day at the Domenici Fitness and Sports Center on Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., Sept. 18. The 49th Security Forces Squadron was the large unit winner of the tug of war event. HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Runners from Team Holloman begin the three-mile relay on Sports Day at the Domenici Fitness and Sports Center here Sept. 18. The winners of each event were split into large and small units and two squadrons walked away with the Sports Day 2009 trophy.
