EOD TEAM CLEARS ORDNANCE FOUND NEAR ORO GRANDE, NM

Members of the 49th Fighter Wing's explosive ordnance disposal team assisted with the detonation of a UXO Dec. 23, 2008. The ordnance was found near Oro Grande, NM, by individuals riding all terrain vehicles. Both military and civilian organizations were involved with the safe disposal of the ordnance, which was on land owned by the Bureau of Land Management.
