Joint Crisis Negotiation Team Training

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Members of the El Paso and Albuquerque Federal Bureau of Investigation develop a plan during a hostage exercise April 28, 2010, at the base dormitories. The exercise involved 49th SFS Quick Reaction Force members, 49th SFS hostage negotiators; FBI hostage negotiators and FBI Special Weapons and Tactics teams from El Paso, Texas; Las Cruces and Albuquerque, N.M. Within the past year, Holloman security forces and the FBI have begun exercising joint Crisis Negotiation Team training. This was the first exercise of its kind at Holloman involving both Crisis Negotiation and the SWAT teams. Future exercises are planned and will be larger in scope. Joint Crisis Negotiation Team Training

Phase I

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Members of the 49th Logistics Readiness Squadron bag handler team palletize mobility bags to be processed along with approximately 400 Airmen during a Phase I exercise April 14, 2010. Airmen from a cross-section of jobs, including security forces, finance, chaplains, supply, medical, transportation, maintenance and others participated in this exercise as if they would be deploying in support of a tasking. The base also processed equipment, basic Expeditionary Airfield Resources assets and multiple F-22 Raptors an MQ-1 Predator in support of the exercise.
