Centrifuge takes last spin

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Airman 1st Class Derrick Brown, Aeropace Physiological Training Center technician, lectures an F-16 pilot on anti-gravity straining manuevers as he spins in the centrifuge during the last training course Oct. 27, 2010. For 22 years, members from the Physiological Training Center have conducted flight acceleration training using a centrifuge which exposes aircrews to a high level of G-forces -- a measurement of an object's acceleration. This class was the last to go through the centrifuge training at Holloman. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Veronica Stamps/Released)
