LAB

Senior Airman Louise Jackson-Givens, 49th Medical Support Squadron, uses a needle to extract serrum to be used in a College of American Pathology (CAP) survery in the laboratory at the 49th Medical Group Clinic at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., August 14. A CAP survey is used to test the Vitros 250 machine, which is used to test serrums. The survey is done by placing different pooled serrums into test tubes and inserting it into the machine. They then check the results and make sure they are correct. A CAP survey is done two to three times a month. (U.S. Air Force photo/Airman Sondra M. Wieseler)
