Shuttle bus service gets Airmen to work

The 49th Logistics Readiness Squadron Vehicle Operations Flight runs a shuttle bus service from the on-base dorms to the west side of base for dorm residents who have no other means of getting to work. 

"The shuttle service is being provided on a trial basis," said 2nd Lt. Tracy Gilmore, 49 LRS vehicle operations. "It was brought up by dorm residents." 

The trial basis will run until March 9, then it will be decided whether to keep the service going or not. 

The shuttle service runs Monday through Friday during the hours of 6:25 a.m. and 6:40 p.m., said Tech. Sgt. Pablo Quiros, 49 LRS vehicle operations. 

The shuttle bus service schedule is as follows:
· Dorm 340: 6:25 a.m., 8:05 a.m. and 5 p.m. (pick up for Bldg. 894 only)
· Bldg. 892/895: 6:30 a.m., 8:10 a.m. and 5:05 p.m.
· Bldg. 898: 6:37 a.m. and 5:10 p.m.
· Bldg. 894: 6:38 a.m., 8:15 a.m., 5:12 p.m. and 6:40 p.m.
· Bldg. 868: 6:40 a.m. and 5:14 p.m.
· Bldg. 839: 6:46 a.m. and 5:19 p.m.
· Bldg. 800: 6:50 a.m. and 5:21 p.m.
