MyAirForceLife app provides information for Airmen Published Aug. 27, 2015 By Airman 1st Class Emily A. Kenney 49th Wing Public Affairs HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- The 49th Force Support Squadron is now able to provide up-to-date information about its functions through the use of an application called MyAirForceLife. The app was launched July 1 and allows users to subscribe to multiple bases to access information on jobs, events and hours of operation for certain shops. "The app gives Airmen FSS facility information including phone numbers, hours and descriptions, as well as upcoming events," said Lisa Bradford, the 49th FSS marketing director. "It also gives users the ability to receive push notification from our facilities and jobs available through (Non-Appropriated Funds) jobs right at your fingertips." The app can be accessed through a phone's app store under MyAirForceLife. "Users can also access MyAirForceLife through the web at www.myairforcelife.com," said Bradford. "The website has information on Air Force-wide events like Fight Frenzy, the Air Force scholarship program and vocal upload, whereas the app provides base-specific information." For any questions about the MyAirForceLife app, contact the 49th FSS marketing department at (575) 572-5597 or 49fssmarketing@gmail.com.
