Holloman Airmen received the chance to put Charlie Brown’s Christmas tree to shame this year with a free tree giveaway Dec. 8, 2017 at the Holloman Air Force Base Airman and Family Readiness Center.

The A&FRC received a free donation of 150 trees to give to Airmen and their families as a part of the Trees for Troops program.

“It is amazing we have the opportunity to provide these trees to some of the families at Holloman this year,” said Master Sgt. Kimmy Middleton, 49th Wing Airman and Family Readiness Center readiness noncommissioned officer. “It can be difficult for a family to provide all of the facets of a traditional Christmas, and we want to do everything we can to ease that stress.”

The trees were distributed on a first-come, first-served basis from the A&FRC parking lot.
