Remotely piloted aircraft

An MQ-9 Reaper sits on the flight line of Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., Aug. 19, prior to maintenance that will keep it flying and training the next generation of Air Force pilots and sensor operators. The MQ-9 Reaper is a medium-to-high altitude, long endurance unmanned aircraft system. The MQ-9's primary mission is as a persistent hunter-killer against emerging targets to achieve joint force commander objectives.
