49th Wing initiates transition to A-staff structure
The 49th Wing at Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico, initiated the stand-up and transition to a numbered A-staff construct in April 2023. The A-staff is comprised of subject matter experts from all areas of the wing's mission who work together to streamline operations and planning for the multitude of units under the 49th Wing.
