Colonel COL. MICHAEL P. DRISCOLL

 Colonel Michael P. Driscoll is the Commander, 54th Fighter Group, Holloman AFB, New Mexico. He is responsible for the operations of the largest F-16 Formal Training Unit. The 54th Fighter Group is under the command of the 49th Wing, and consists of more than 400 people including three F-16 Fighter Squadrons, an Operations Support Squadron and a Training Squadron. Previously, Col Driscoll served as the Director of Plans and Integration, United States Air Force Warfare Center, Nellis AFB, NV.

Colonel Driscoll received his bachelor’s degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in 1997 and entered the Air Force in 1999, earning his commission at Officer Training School. Colonel Driscoll graduated Specialized Undergraduate Pilot Training at NAS Whiting Field, Florida and Vance AFB, Oklahoma in 2000. He graduated from F-16 initial flight training with the 178 FW Air National Guard in Springfield, Ohio in 2002. He has served in multiple fighter squadrons with operational deployments to Iraq and other CENTCOM AORs including 537 combat hours in Operation New Dawn and Inherent Resolve.
