On behalf of the 49th Wing, welcome to the friendliest place on earth. Holloman is located in New Mexico's Tularosa Basin between the Sacramento and San Andreas mountain ranges. The base has been a proud member of the local community since 1942. It's currently home to the MQ-9 Reaper remotely piloted aircraft, F-16 Viper, as well as more than 30 tenant units.

K-12 Schools
There are two Alamogordo Public Schools located on Holloman Air Force Base: Holloman Elementary and Holloman Middle.

There is one public high school, Alamogordo High School, located in downtown Alamogordo.

College courses are available on base in a variety of academic disciplines. These courses and programs may lead to associate's, bachelor's or master's degrees. The following institutions are represented:

SrA Risch, one of our Medical Information Services Technician, consistently goes above and beyond on all his work orders for the clinic to ensure our computer systems are up and running so we can see patients. In addition to his technical expertise, SrA Risch has stepped up as the Flight Chief for his section and is a valued asset that MDG Leadership leans on for Systems decisions, especially as we transition to our own medical network. We are so lucky to have you on our team!

49 MDG Patients, Last week, the 49 MDG lost a member of our Executive Leadership Team. Many MDG staff members will be attending her service that will be held tomorrow, 10 Apr 19. From 1030-1300, please be patient as you may experience some delays due to many sections and clinics being minimally staffed to allow for staff members to attend the service.
