German Air Force in the load competition
German Air Force Tech. Sgt. Carsten Wedemeyer, German Air Force Flying Training Center, prepares an AIM-9 sidewinder to be loaded onto a Tornado during a quarterly load-crew competition at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., July 13. The crew loaded a GBU-32 bomb and an AIM-9 Sidewinder during the competition to display their warfighting skills, while avoiding safety and procedural errors. The GAF crew also competed against U.S. Air Force F-22 Raptor and MQ-9 Reaper load crews. (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman First Class Daniel Liddicoet/Released)
