Croft becomes 49th Wing commander
Lieutenant Gen. Robin Rand, 12th Air Force commander, pins the Legion of Merit Medal to Col. David Krumm, outgoing 49th Wing commander, during the 49th WG change of command ceremony at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., June 22. Krumm was the first commander of the 49th WG after it changed from the 49th Fighter Wing in June of 2010. During his time here he helped deliver combat-ready F-22 airpower, and expanded the remotely piloted aircraft formal training unit more than 75 percent.
