Croft becomes 49th Wing commander
Airman 1st Class Douglas Maina, Materiel Maintainance Support Squardon vehicle and vehicular equipment apprectice, stands in formation as the guidon bearer for the 49th Materiel Maintainance Group during the 49th Wing change of command ceremony at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., June 22. All five groups under the 49th WG banner – 49th MMG, 49th Operations Group, 49th Maintenance Group, 49th Mission Support Group, and the 49th Medical Group – as well as the 46th Test Group and the German Air Force Flying Training Center were represented during the change of command ceremony. The change of command is a time-honored tradition that allows Airmen to witness the formal transfer of authority one commander to another.
