Holloman to receive new commander

Col. Andrew Croft will become the 49th Wing's second commander on June 22, 2012, when Col. David Krumm relinquishes command of the wing. Croft comes to Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., from the 12th Flying Training Wing at Randolph Air Force Base, Texas, where he served as the Operations Group commander. During this assignment he was responsible for the execution of the introduction to fighter fundamentals student and instructor upgrade mission, as well as the Air Force's only pilot instructor training, remotely piloted aircraft pilot indoctrination and basic sensor operator qualification programs.
