T-38 Maintainers
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. – John Segovia, an aircraft engine mechanic for the T-38 Talon, tears down a J85 jet engine April 19. The J85 is one of the longest military jet engines in service with more than 16.5 million hours of operation. It is still heavily relied on to complete the T-38’s training mission at Holloman AFB.
