WHITE SANDS MISSILE RANGE, N.M. – University of California Santa Barbara U.S. Army Reserve Officers' Training Corps members cross the finish line of the Bataan Memorial Death March as a team here March 25. Brandon Peer, 27, of Fort Collins, Colo., was the first ROTC participant to finish the marathon in the ROTC - heavy category, with a chip time of 5:58:28; Alexander Babos, 19, of Fort Collins, Colo., was the first in the ROTC - light category, with a chip time of 3:53:44.
