Walking for awareness
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Chaplain (Capt.) Kelly Stahl, 49th Wing Chapel, says a prayer before the Annual Breast Cancer Awareness Walk-a-Thon begins at the Soaring Heights Welcome Home Center Oct. 26, 2010. In honor of the annual Breast Cancer Awareness Month, members of Team Holloman arranged a Breast Cancer Awareness Walk-A-Thon. Participants in the walk included Soaring Heights staff, spouses and dependants with the 49th Civil Engineer Squadron Fire Protection Flight leading the way in a fire truck and the 49th Security Forces Squadron directing traffic. The mission of the event was to reach out to the public to let them know that early detection is key in the treatment of breast cancer.
