HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Lt. Col. Robert Teschner, 7th Fighter Squadron commander, performs a pre-flight systems check of an F-22 Raptor to ensure it is properly functioning before takeoff May 24, 2010. F-22's from Holloman deployed to Kadena Air Base, Japan, for approximately four months as part of a U.S. Pacific Command Theater Security Package. This deployment marked the first time F-22s from Holloman were sent to the Western Pacific to train in a forward location and was one of many firsts for Holloman AFB and the 49th Wing in 2010.
