Joint Crisis Negotiation Team Training
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Members of the El Paso Federal Bureau of Investigation stand guard during a hostage exercise April 28, 2010, at the base dormitories. The exercise involved 49th SFS Quick Reaction Force members, 49th SFS hostage negotiators; FBI hostage negotiators and FBI Special Weapons and Tactics teams from El Paso, Texas; Las Cruces and Albuquerque, N.M. Within the past year, Holloman security forces and the FBI have begun exercising joint Crisis Negotiation Team training. This was the first exercise of its kind at Holloman involving both Crisis Negotiation and the SWAT teams. Future exercises are planned and will be larger in scope.
