Remembering the Holocaust

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Members of Team Holloman watch a short video presentation from the U.S. Holocaust Museum titled "Why We Remember the Holocaust," during the annual Holocaust Remembrance ceremony April 6, 2010, at the base chapel. The ceremony was in honor of the day of remembrance designed to commemorate the victims of the Holocaust -- the persecution and extermination of European Jews by Nazi Germany during World War II. Speakers of the event also urged the attendees to not only memorialize the victims, but to reaffirm their commitment to moral obligations as human beings to stand up for justice in order to secure a better future.
