Holloman recognized as Tree City USA

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Col. Stephen DiFonzo, 49th Mission Support Group commander, with Ellen Roderick, base environmental management system coordinator, and Lucas Oligschlaeger base natural resource biologist, begin to plant a tree across the street from the officer's club for the annual Arbor Day event March 12, 2010. Holloman has been awarded Tree City USA status for the last six years by the Arbor Day Foundation and has been a part of the celebration of Arbor Day.
