49 MDG tests capabilities to immunize using the Seasonal Flu Vaccine.
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Airman 1st Class Sondra Escutia, 49th Fighter Wing, receives the seasonal FluMist vaccine Oct. 21 at the Community Activity Center here. Vaccinations started on Oct. 20 at 2 p.m. and are being given at the center over a 48 hour period. The 49th Medical Group is using this 48 hour period to exercise its real world capabilities to immunize and track the base populous in case of a potential disease outbreak.
