Holloman readiness put to the test
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Fire Emergency Services douse the fire on a simulated C-17 Globemaster III upon initial arrival to the crash scene during the Major Accident Response Exercise here July 23. In the exercise scenario, the C-17 declared an in-flight emergency after two engines were damaged in a hailstorm. It crashed short of a runway at Holloman and caught fire.
