5th BW wins ACC safety awards
MINOT AIR FORCE BASE, N.D. – Lt. Col. Max Mitchell, 5th Bomb Wing chief of safety, and Dan Heald, 5th Bomb Wing Safety Office, look over floor plans of the PRIDE Building to ensure safety precautions are met. Mr. Heald recently won the 2006 Air Combat Command Services Ground Safety Award for Distinction. Other 2006 ACC accolades awarded to the 5th Bomb Wing were the Chief of Safety Outstanding Achievement Award for Ground Safety – Category I, a flight safety plaque and a nuclear surety plaque.
