Quarterly Military Working Dog training

Chris Lopez, a Border Patrol agent, and patrol K-9 Joe run obstacles as a part of obedience training outside the Military Working Dog facility at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., March 19. Holloman’s 49th Security Forces Squadron Military Working Dog Unit hosted quarterly training with multiple law enforcement agencies from the surrounding areas including Border Patrol, New Mexico State University and Fort Bliss. The day consists of emergency veterinary procedure training, comparing tactics of entering a building and capturing a decoy, obedience training, and bomb search and detection.
