Holloman celebrates 67th Air Force Birthday

Despite the rainy New Mexico weather, members of Team Holloman came together to run a 5K in honor of the Air Force Birthday at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., Sept. 18. On September 18, 1947 the U.S. Air Force was officially recognized as an independent military service, leaving behind its former role, the U.S. Army Air Corps. This year marks 67 years of the USAF leading the world in air superiority, space and cyberspace.
