The ruff life

Staff Sgt. Krystle Draper, 49th Security Forces Military Working Dog handler, let the MWDs out to use the fire hydrant after finishing their meals at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., Jan. 22. The bond between MWDs and their handlers is often as strong as family. They spend nearly every day together working and training to stay in sync to function as partners during military operations.
