The Mark 82 is used during the flight training of new F-16 aircraft pilots at Holloman/White Sands Missile Range under the 54th Fighter Group. The Mark 82 is a 500 pound munition that has been in use since the late 1960s, making it one of the most versatile weapons in the U.S. military and a perfect option for training missions.
