One Military Day - Holloman AFB, N.M.
Senior Airman Joseph Meister, 54th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron avionics journeyman, reprograms avionic equipment in an F-16 Fighting Falcon at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., April 8, 2015. “My original job was with nuclear weapons, and I chose to become a crew chief about a year and a half ago,” Meister said. “My dad and grandpa were both in the military, so they really inspired me to join. The examples set by those who came before us really keeps me motivated. I never thought I would have the opportunity to go the places I’ve gone and I’m really thankful that I can be part of what keeps these jets up in the air.” (U.S. Air Force photo by Airman 1st Class Aaron Montoya / Released)
