One Military Day - Holloman AFB, N.M.

Staff Sgt. Rontera Powel, Food Service supervisor, prepares spaghetti sauce for lunch at the Shifting Sands Dining Facility on Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., April 8, 2015. Force Support Squadrons ensure American Airmen are properly cared for from the time they join the Air Force until they separate. The Force Support career fields are in charge of major support functions such as operating dining facilities, lodging and fitness facilities, the military personnel section and mortuary affairs. Powel has worked in several sections throughout the Force Support career fields for more than seven years, and gained her inspiration from her sister who is a veteran of the Air National Guard for more than 15 years. "I get to travel around the world and meet new people all the time, it's what I have always wanted to do," said Powel. (U.S. Air Force photo by Senior Airman Chase Cannon/ Released)
