Holloman embraces LEOSA, selected staff arming
Staff Sgt. Agustin with the 49th Security Forces Squadron at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M., stands in front of his patrol car June 15. Since April 25, the 49th SFS has authorized selected personnel to be able to carry a concealed weapon while off duty and out of uniform. These changes are not the result of a direct threat, but address the everyday possibility of an active shooter incident occurring. (Last names are withheld due to operational constraints.
