8th Fighter Sqaudron reactivated after six years

Lt. Col. Mark Sletten, 8th Fighter Squadron commander, gives a speech during the 8th FS activation ceremony at Holloman Air Force Base, N.M. Aug. 4, 2017. The 8th FS has been reactivated six years after its last inactivation May 13, 2011.
