Supplement safety, ‘hot’ products that could make you ‘pop hot’
In a 2018 study, the Council for Responsible Nutrition found that 68 percent of Americans take dietary supplements. The 49th Wing health promotions coordinator and staff judge advocate office encourage all Department of Defense employees and their dependents to make educated choices regarding their supplement usage, in accordance with the DoD’s Operation Supplement Safety educational campaign. OPSS provides information regarding banned supplement ingredients, high-risk supplements and supplement brands, and provides free resources for making educated decisions regarding supplement consumption.
