Holloman units provide support for Joint Task Force-Quartz

Airmen from the 49th Logistics Readiness Squadron and 22nd Airlift Squadron wait to load cargo from the 635th Materiel Maintenance Group Basic Expeditionary Airfield Resources unit onto a C-5 Galaxy in support of Joint Task Force-Quartz, Dec. 26, 2020, on Holloman Air Force Base, New Mexico. Joint Task Force-Quartz and supporting units flew more than 1,000 sorties using 17 different types of aircraft, moved 4.6 million pounds of cargo, and repositioned hundreds of military personnel throughout East Africa in less than two months.
