HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Airman 1st Class Jamie Peterson, 49th Materiel Maintenance Squadron, hooks up a high-voltage connector to test the electrical voltage of a secondary distribution center Sept. 30, 2010. These secondary distribution centers transform 12,470/7,200 volts down to a useable 120/208 volts that powers tents, shop equipment and personal utilities in a deployed location. Electricians from the Basic Expeditionary Airfield Resource base perform maintenance tests on secondary distribution centers, primary switching centers and remote area lighting systems to ensure they are functional in military installations downrange.
