Haley Crosby, daughter of Jeremiah Crosby, gets fingerprinted by Deputy Sheriff Frank Mackewich, Otero County Sheriff's Department, July 31, during the Child ID event at the Base Exchange here.

The event provided children with a fingerprint card, DNA sample and child safety advisory to ensure the children had positive identification.

Holloman sponsored the event through the Anti-Terrorism office and the Local Anti-Terror Advisory Council. The 49th Security Forces Squadron also actively supported the event along with various area law enforcement agencies, primarily the Otero County Sheriff of Alamogordo and Lincoln County Sheriff of Ruidoso. They ID'd approximately 125 children, bringing the total number of persons ID'd to just over 2,000 in the LATAC supported program.
