Holloman Air Force Base, N.M. -- The 49th Medical Support Squadron held their Change of Command ceremony on Holloman Air Force Base, July 7, 2015. During the Change of Command, outgoing commander, Lt. Col. Kathleen Mackey handed over command of the squadron to Lt. Col. Elbert Alford. Alford will lead the unit's 77 active duty and civilian personnel who maintain the operation of all medical support activities, medical readiness items, facility management, and pharmacy operations.
