Dow, 29th Attack Squadron aviation resource management flight chief, pose for a photo at Heritage Park June 1. Over Memorial Day weekend, the Dows saved a man’s life from a sinking boat at Elephant Butte Reservoir, near Truth or Consequences, N.M. The Dows, who have been stationed at Holloman AFB for two years, go to Elephant Butte three times a month, but have never experienced any situation like the one they did May 26.
