GAF participates in load crew competition
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- German Air Force Tech. Sgt. Martin Wattler, crew chief, runs toward a Tornado, July 8, 2011, during a quarterly load crew competition. The GAF crew chiefs were competing for the first time loading a Tornado while the 49th Maintenance Group loaded an F-22 Raptor and a MQ-9 Reaper. The competitions are held to give weapons personnel the opportunity to display their warfighting skills and unveils the best weapons load crew for a particular quarter during the year.
