Christmas with the "Fightin' 49ers"

ALAMOGORDO ARMY AIRFIELD, N.M. -- Members stationed at the Alamogordo Army Airfield enjoy a Christmas meal in 1943. The “Fightin’ 49ers” didn’t arrive at Holloman until 1968, but they celebrated Christmas regardless of where they were serving. (U.S. Air Force photo courtesy of the 49th History Office/Released)
