Exercising Delta

HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- An Explosive Ordnance Disposal technician guides an ANDROS HD-1 robot out of the EOD truck Nov. 18, 2010. The exercise scenario called for 49th Civil Engineer Squadron EOD Airmen to respond to and neutralize a simulated explosive device. The scenario was part of a base-wide exercise which tested Team Holloman's ability to respond to an emergency situation such as a terrorist attack, and to effectively execute changes to Force Protection Condition in response. The exercise was also held in preparation for the upcoming Operational Readiness Inspection, slated for April 2011. (U.S. Air Force photo by Tech. Sgt. Alan Port/Released)
