Sled park preserves high-speed history
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- An F-111 sled that was once used for ejection seat testing on the Holloman High Speed Test Track sits in the 846th Test Squadron "bone yard," July 16, 2010. This sled is scheduled to be repainted by corrosion control specialists from the squadron, and restored to its original state in order to be displayed at the Sled Park.
