Sled park preserves high-speed history
HOLLOMAN AIR FORCE BASE, N.M. -- Ruben Elizaldez, 846th Test Squadron corrosion control specialist, uses a spray gun, July 16, 2010, to paint a sign that will be displayed at the 846th Test Squadron Sled Park. Mr. Elizaldez and other corrosion control specialists are responsible for repainting the sleds used in the park to bring them back to their original state. The 49th Civil Engineer Squadron's Engineering Flight, Environmental Flight and Fire Protection Flight also assisted in making the Sled Park a reality.
